IRS Decision will Impact Library’s Annual Tax Form Distribution

The Durango Public Library will have very few Federal Tax forms to distribute this tax season.    Only the basic Federal forms will be available for pick up in the Library lobby this year.   The IRS is not sending any instruction booklets to libraries this year.   The IRS states “…appropriations were significantly cut in the 2015 Omnibus Appropriations bill recently passed by Congress.”
You can obtain forms by requesting they be mailed to you at or call 1-800-829-3676. You can download or print them at
For more information contact the IRS at 1-800-829-3676.

The Library has computers with Internet access and printing available to the public on a first come, first serve basis.  Printing is ten cents per page.   The Library will have Colorado income tax forms available in the Library lobby.
